If you are an Arizona veteran, you may qualify for medical cannabis certification at a significant discount.
Because cannabis remains federally illegal, Veterans Affairs (VA) medical providers cannot issue certifications. However, veterans can use VA medical records to verify qualifying conditions such as PTSD, chronic pain, or chronic and debilitating condition when applying through a state-licensed provider.
Veterans who do not use VA healthcare, or whose providers are not registered with the state, can receive discounted certifications through approved Arizona clinics.
To receive the discounted rate, veterans must submit proof of veteran status as part of the medical intake form. If proof is not provided before the appointment, the full standard price will apply.
